Rare Earth (also referred to as alpha particle and alpha) is the colloquial name of an abundant, but difficult to isolate, particle used to power the advanced technology developed by the migrant humans. It is the most important resource on Wreel and is the cause of most of the conflict between the races.
Khor, under the direct supervision and with financial backing of the Consortium, harvest most of the rare earth on Wreel.
